What type of travel insurance do you need?

Single or annual multi-trip?

Single trip:Cover for a single trip, for the exact number of days you need.

Annual multi-trip:Cover for multiple trips within a 365 day period. You can purchase your annual multi-trip policy up to 60 days in advance of your policy start date. The maximum length of days you can travel on any one trip can be up to 31 or 45 days.

A single trip policy could work out cheaper if you're only travelling once within the year and cover can be arranged for the exact number of days you require.

Please note the minimum trip length is 2 days.

There will be no cover for any claims if you have already started your trip.

When will your policy begin?

Annual multi-trip
Annual multi Trip Policies cover you for 365 days from your selected start date - Trip length is often limited to around 31 or 45 days, but this is dependent on your provider. Annual multi-trip policies can be purchased up to 60 days in advance of your policy start date. You will not be eligible for cancellation cover until the policy starts. If you want this cover, you should consider starting the policy straight away.
So you have flexibility, you can buy your annual multi-trip policy up to 60 days before you want the policy to start. Please note, there will be no cover for any claims until the start date of your policy, nor for any trips that started prior to you purchasing a policy.

Cruises are defined as trips on ocean or river cruise ships/boats. A ferry crossing does not constitute a cruise.
You need to select Yes to make sure you are covered if you are going on any cruises during the period of cover.

Family Travellers Please note: A Family policy offers cover to up to two adults with at least one child (under the age of 18).
If more than two members of your family are aged 18 or over, you will need a Group policy.
